Our brand new 2013 Terex FUCHS MHL340 is one of the worlds leading scrap Aluminium handlers purchased in March 2013 to help us handle your scrap Aluminium in bulk and processed in our state of the art Sierra Terex 500 Baler/Shear.
With our machinery on site, We can ensure our Burnley scrapyard can handle all quantities of Aluminium for recycling and have the room to cope.

What is scrap Aluminium?
You may be wondering what scrap Aluminium is and what we take… Well, basically ANY Aluminium that need recycling because it’s no longer fit for reuse… With recycling ALL KINDS of metal it doesn’t matter what grade or material you have.
There are many things made out of aluminium because it is a strong, yet light metal. Things that are commonly made out of aluminium are: aluminium ladders, scrap scaffolding tubes, scrap cooking pans, signs, scrap greenhouse, Stairlifts, door handles, shop windows frames, and much more.
For clean Aluminium scrap prices the metal needs to be free of any steel/plastic/glass/wood. Aluminium containing steel will be classed as Irony Aluminium, See prices Below.

Wallace Reader & Son Ltd can arrange free collection for your Aluminium TODAY! We can collect your Aluminium for recycling at any time of the day between 8:30am and 5pm. We can either drop off a skip for a skip collection OR arrange on of our scrap collectors to collect it for you.
