Now promoting our WEEE Recycling facilities.
WEEE Recycling is the correct term for the disposal Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Old computers, games consoles and any other household, business or machinery containing electrical appliances or components that need to be recycled.
We can now pay for Weee Scrap:
Since we have been in the scrap metal sector, new metals emerge onto the market. With technology and knowledge on specific materials broadening every minute, we find it our job to keep UP-TO-DATE and keep with the times. With TECHNOLOGY being the fastest moving industry to date, there becomes a lot of waste products. With computers getting faster, mobile phones taking over and products going out of date in a matter of months, the amount of WEEE scrap being produced each year is increasing.
‘That is why WEEE RECYCLE!’
By incorporating WEEE Recycling into our business, we aim to create a great impact on reducing the carbon footprint we are currently making.
What is classed as WEEE Scrap?
WEEE scrap is basically any waste electrical & electronic equipment. products we accept are:
WEEE Directive – What is it?
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) was introduced into UK law in January 2007 by the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations 2006.
The WEEE Recycling Directive aims to reduce the amount of electrical and electronic equipment being produced and to encourage everyone to reuse, recycle and recover it.
The WEEE Directive also aims to improve the environmental performance of businesses that manufacture, supply, use, recycle and recover electrical and electronic equipment.
If you are an importer, rebrander or manufacturer of new electrical or electronic equipment, then it’s likely that you’ll need to comply with the UK’s WEEE Regulations, which in part implement the WEEE Directive. If you do need to comply, then you must register on a producer compliance scheme.
You may also have obligations under the WEEE Regulations if you are a business with electrical or electronic equipment to dispose of, or if you sell electrical or electronic equipment.
Our role is to provide information and advice on complying with the WEEE Regulations to producers of Electrical or Electronic Equipment (EEE) and the waste management industry.
The WEEE regulation aims to improve the environmental performance of businesses that manufacture, supply, use, recycle and recover electrical and electronic equipment. We recycle 100% of your WEEE scrap and can offer you FREE COLLECTION on any unwanted computers, servers, set top boxes, routers, printers, scanners, hard drives DVR Recorders and games consoles.
